Nouredine Capital was established because we thought the sub-$500m space was largely underserviced. The banks rarely cover these companies with meaningful resources. Boutique advisers are traditionally senior M&A professionals who farm out the deal execution to lawyers or inexperienced juniors. And the big 4 accounting firms are often conflicted by cross-selling tax/accounting/audit services. This is where Nouredine Capital is unique. Principal Ali Bahamad is senior enough to have the relevant deal experience and extensive networks, but yet proudly delves deep into the transaction execution. Not only does this experience provide the client comfort, but also adds strategic importance during negotiation, whereby the senior team member is across all the details of diligence, financials, legal issues, etc. Nouredine Capital is able to do this because we never take on more than 2 engagements at any given time. Nor do we have internal political goals to chase new clients at the expense of focus on existing clients.
