Northwoods Animal Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care since 1987. We pride ourselves on offering a friendly atmosphere where clients feel like family and are well informed to provide the best possible care for their pet. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local Specialist/Referral Practices and the NC State Vet School for the times when special diagnostic procedures are required. Our facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, pet supplies and food, in-hospital surgery suite, digital radiology, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, a comfortable environment for your dogs and cats in our boarding facility and a closely supervised hospitalization area. At Northwoods Animal Hospital we strive to offer not only sound advice, but also optimal veterinary care, thus allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years.
