NORTHWESTERN R-1 SCHOOL DISTRICT Information

The Applied Math class (Gannon Johnson, Kamron Hoag, Braston Carter, Tanner Dorrell, and Steve Roberts) have been working on a STEM project the past three weeks. Our unit began by researching mechanical and material engineers. The boys continued designing and building a catapult. After some trial and error, an impressive catapult was created. The boys demonstrated the catapult to the 2nd and 3rd grade . . . Jaclyn Humphrey and Eli Fay developed the fundraising idea for Blue Eagle Beverages. They both worked hard the last several weeks, providing drinks to staff and students. The money raised, as well as generous donations from anonymous donors, allowed Jaclyn and Eli to purchase items for kids removed from their home and placed into care. "Yesterday I went to Northwestern School and met 2 of the kindest students ever! . . . What a year it has been for Northwestern R-I FFA students. As the year comes to a close, students are still hard at work getting school work done, shop projects, and much more. These students should be proud of all their hard work and accomplishments this year. On April 28th, Ayden Spencer and Andrew Buck traveled to Audrain County 4H Center.
