Northern Mallee Local Learning and Employment Network (NMLLEN) is one of the 31 LLENs across Victoria which were established in the year 2001 arising from the recommendations of the Kirby report- Ministerial Review of Post Compulsory Education and Training Pathways in Victoria. NMLLEN's region covers the Mildura Rural City Council LGA (including the towns of Mildura, Irymple, Merbein, Red Cliffs, Ouyen, Werrimull, Murrayville) and Robinvale (part of Swan Hill Rural City Council LGA) NMLLEN brokers strategic and sustainable community partnerships aimed at improving education and transition outcomes for Young people including increasing Year 12 or equivalent attainment rates. In 2019, NMLLEN was funded by the Victorian Department of Education and Training for the LLEN contract, Structured Workplace Learning (SWL) contract, On Track contract and the Navigator- Mallee Contract. Our Mission: Brokering strategic partnerships with stakeholder groups, to improve outcomes in education, training and employment for young people.
