The North of Scotland KTP Centre was established in 1997 and is a recognised component of the wider UK KTP community. The Centre is based in Aberdeen, but has partnerships running with partners across Grampian, the Highlands and Islands and the rest of the UK. A number of our partnerships have gone on to win awards at a Scottish level. The Centre is a joint venture between the University of Aberdeen and Robert Gordon University. More recently the Centre has become affiliated with the University of the Highlands and Islands, Abertay University, the University of Dundee and the James Hutton Institute. Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) are the UK Government's premier "knowledge transfer" mechanism, providing the framework and resources to support company-academic collaborations.
