Our local network members are mutual owners in an LLC that is focused on providing the insurance industry with best-in-class, standardized, customizable, national claims handling solutions. History: North American Restoration Drycleaners (NARD) was founded in 2004 as a peer group consisting of the nation’s leading independent restoration dry cleaners who were dedicated to developing and standardizing around best practices. Our years of partnership and quest for perfection led us to develop the textile restoration industry’s only end-to-end order management system known as Textile Solutions. Structure: Our local members are owners in our national network that is run as a not-for-profit organization. We share our costs and make all decisions as a board. We have a detailed operating agreement and a code of ethics that all of our members are obligated to follow. We have an Ethics Committee that handles dispute resolution should a need arise. Our incoming members are assigned a mentor, given extensive training and demonstrate proficiency during a probationary period in order to qualify as a full member. Our network is free from territorial quotas; average claims benchmarks and sales competitions that have the potential to influence claims handling decisions. What is Textile Solutions: Textile Solutions is the textile restoration industry’s only cloud-based comprehensive inventory control and claims management platform. It was custom made to manage the entire restoration process from online claims submission to room-by-room barcode delivery back into the customer’s closet. When utilized nationally, the Textile Solutions platform allows for unprecedented standardization across our network and limitless data sharing options with the insurance carrier. We even offer national carriers Oversight--the ability to look into all of their claims and extract live data. With Oversight, you will never have to rely on the vendor to provide the critical data you are looking for. In 2015, the NARD network secured exclusive rights to use and co-develop the Textile Solutions platform to truly standardize our national service offerings.
