We combine breadth, expertise, and scale with the insight of a local partner and the values of the public sector – driven by the belief there is always a better way to deliver for the public. We are one of the country’s fastest-growing service providers, with a broad range of services including facilities management, property services and specialist care facilities. Providing commercial solutions which address current and future built environment challenges, we have 22 joint venture partnerships across England and Wales. Our company was originally founded in 1988 by Norfolk County Council, our sole shareholder, in response to the introduction of Compulsory Competitive Tendering. Today, our ongoing success is borne out of true partnering, delivering efficiency savings for partners in an open and transparent fashion. We provide an annual return to the public purse of around £6m each year and with over 9,000 staff, (6,000 or so in Norfolk) we employ many more people than the county council. Our operations cover the majority of the UK and although we are a significant employer in Norfolk, we are a national company with a presence across England as well as in Edinburgh in Scotland and Newport in Wales.
