Nonprofit Technology Resources Information

Nonprofit Technology Resources'​ (NTR) mission is to ensure that all Philadelphians, regardless of income, have access to and capacity to use information and communication technologies. NTR envisions a city where everyone has the essential tools to achieve their academic, economic, and professional goals. NTR was founded in Philadelphia in 1974 to assist nonprofit organizations in using video technology. By the end of that decade, it became clear to founder Stanley Pokras that information and communication technologies would have a significantly greater impact on the city's nonprofit community, and he pivoted NTR's work to address this coming challenge. By the mid 1980's, NTR was providing technology training services and hardware to organizations across Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley.
