As with most start up businesses, Jimmy started small when he started his first passenger service, but the business expanded in response to more customers. He offered a high-quality service that people liked, bringing happy groups around Dublin and beyond for many years. Although the business has grown a lot since the 1940s, Nolan Coaches still remains a family run business. Today the company is run by David Nolan, who has been running the operation since 1993.
