Michael Nolan is one of the founders of NOLAN BROWN PARTNERS LLC and manages the Field Services Group. He had twelve years of experience in consulting and venture capital prior to founding NOLAN BROWN. As a Senior Consultant with the DMA Group, Mike focused on manufacturing and sales operations throughout the United States and Europe. With Botnick Five Ventures, in his role as Senior Acquisitions Consultant, Mike sought out, evaluated and acquired businesses throughout the United States. He has worked extensively for banks, law firms and venture capital firms on issues such as white collar fraud and establishing or verifying valuations of privately held companies. Prior to that Mr. Nolan was President of BECA Corporation, a sales organization he built selling employee benefits to corporations. He later sold that enterprise to an employee benefits group. Before joining Mr. Brown in founding NOLAN BROWN, Mike served as president of Concord Green, Inc., a hand painted furniture manufacturing company selling through major catalog retailers. After doubling sales profitably every year for five years, Mr. Nolan sold the company to a Fortune 500 firm. Mike earned his MBA at the University of Kentucky while serving in the U.S. Army as a Company Commander, 101st Airborne Division. He holds a BA in History from Bates College. Steven Brown, the other founder of NOLAN BROWN PARTNERS LLC, serves as Managing Partner. Prior to founding NOLAN BROWN he had experience with Atlantic Management Associates as Executive Management Consultant., working with owners of mid market companies in architecture, construction, HVAC sales, fabrication and installation, the trades, manufacturing, sales (commercial and retail), and services.
