At Nodis, we provide the world’s only color smart glass technology. Smart glass is glass with light transmission properties that can be changed when voltage is applied. With Nodis electronically controlled glass, the color and tint of any window, sunroof or skylight by electrically aligning nano-particles in a thin film within the glass or plastic. With the touch of a button, users can instantly change or tune the transparency of glass to help keep out harsh sunlight and 95% of harmful UV rays. Our technology effectively blocks UV and infrared rays regardless of whether the glass is in its clear or tinted state, helping keep cars, planes, yachts, homes, offices and artwork cooler and protected. Nodis smart glass is a critical enabler to smart building energy and comfort management. We license our color smart glass technology to glass manufacturers and provide nanoparticles to enable customer production of Nodis-based smart glass.
