Node Institute Information

The NoDE Institute is a not for profit organization devoted to providing healthcare professionals with direct access to specialized postgraduate education, tutoring and proctorship, in order to enhance patient care. Founded in 2018, it is based on the experience in medical training, gained through the postgraduate C.LA.S.S. Courses (Colorectal Laparoscopic Surgical Skills) designed to promote mentoring in colorectal surgery. Apart from the C.LA.S.S. Courses, the NoDE Institute provides virtual-reality training at the NoDE Institute’s Surgical Simulation Center; In-hospital Training programs where general surgery departments join specialized-surgeon divisions for a short period, to experience firsthand the paradigm of treatment in their area of expertise; Cadaveric Dissection TaTME courses for currently the most innovative surgical procedure for rectal cancer; C.RO.S.S. Training (Colorectal Robotic Surgical Skills); PICC & Port Courses for easy central venous access in patients receiving chemotherapy or parenteral nutrition; Cadaveric Dissection Video Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery Courses; the Cadaveric Dissection Laparoscopic Hepatobiliary Surgery Courses; Empathy courses for healthcare providers; Shadowing programs for Highschool students who wish to study medicine and need to comprehend what being a doctor is about; teleconference Open MDT Meetings, where doctors from remote hospitals may seek advice for their patients from multidisciplinary medical teams and Artificial Intelligence Technology. The NoDE institute’s philosophy is that everyone must have direct access to appropriate specialized training and information, and that every training activity must be free of charge. It is about sharing knowledge for the benefit of patients.
