Family owned, Rochford Wines is a must visit destination – as both a renowned Yarra Valley winery and Yarra Valley restaurant - all located in tranquil and picturesque surrounds. The vineyard and winery incorporates the acclaimed Isabella's Restaurant, cellar door and shop, together with other purpose built facilities – a conservatory, a pavilion, amphitheatre and lakeside deck - to service fabulous outdoor concerts, summer food and wine festivals, and a host of other functions and events. Our wines continue to earn great respect, being handcrafted using fruit sourced from four exceptional vineyards. Our viticultural practices are based around maintaining balance in the vineyards, sustainability and responsiveness to changing environmental conditions. Our winemaking philosophy is to produce the best fruit possible in the vineyard, handle the fruit gently to preserve fruit character, minimise extraction and allow the wines to express the individuality of the vineyard and each growing season. Rochford Wines Yarra Valley has become a showpiece of the region, widely acclaimed for its food and wine and its contribution to wine tourism, having outstanding facilities for every scale of function or event, from intimate weddings or a diversity of corporate functions, to grand outdoor concerts. Crittenden is one of the original family owned and operated wineries on the Mornington Peninsula. Established in 1982 by pioneer Garry Crittenden, the Estate is renowned for its exemplary quality cool climate wines that consistently earn international recognition. Central to the ethos at Crittenden is the belief that exceptional wines begin in the vineyard. Rollo attributes the quality of the wine to its sustainable management over the past two decades. Through a dedication to non-chemical management and a focus on fostering natural disease resistance in the vineyard, they have cultivated healthier vines, resulting in superior fruit and wines. This dedication was acknowledged at the esteemed 2020 BRIT/FIVS International Sustainable Winegrowing Competition where they received the top accolade. Their estate-grown varieties of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Savagnin are showcased in The Zumma, Cri de Coeur, and Kangerong wines. The Peninsula range is representative of the Mornington Peninsula wine region, while a journey through Victoria's finest regions and vineyards awaits in the Italian and French inspired Pinocchio and Geppetto wines. Described by James Halliday as ‘an outstanding winery regularly producing wines of exemplary quality’, Crittenden was yet again awarded Halliday’s highest rating of five red stars in the 2024 Halliday Wine Companion.
