Nobaneez is a modern online news-portal that reports on daily news in the country in a comical approach. Established in August 2018, the purpose of the online news-portal to support talented Jordanian graduates to demonstrate their abilities to a wider audience. The honor president of the company is the famous Jordanian actor Mr. Zuhair AlNobani who has recognized career in Media and Arts across the Middle East. In the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, there is an emerging market for social media news editing/reporting. Graduates in Jordan have been taking this voluntary role to promote themselves for the sake of a better career. However, the existing market has limitations related due to the quality and reliability of news shared. As a result, this online platform will enable graduates and talents to develop their careers beyond their social networks whilst providing the readers with highly trusted news. The news portal features a peer-review process to review the quality, reliability and authenticity of the work submitted to limit the spread of rumors across people. Through this approach, editors submitting to the news portal will receive valuable feedback about their work to develop and progress in this career. The scope of the news portal includes political, social, cultural, health and sports matters across Jordan and the Middle East. To add a comical twist to the news portal, 3 fictional characters: Abo Agleen, Abo Shafik, and Farj Allah, who represent a wide scope of the Jordanian demographics in terms of dialects, will be reporting the news to the public. The aim of the characters is to deliver and discuss the news in a comical approach to increase the banter and capture readers’ attention. In addition, the news-portal will feature a brand new lifestyle show coined as “Zuhair’s show”. The show is named in honor of Mr. Zuhair AlNobany who will feature in one of the show’s segments.
