Noah's Ark Toy Library for Children with Special Needs Inc. (NATL) - provides a service for children with special needs and their families in Sydney's northern suburbs. The library has its base at Artarmon and visits locations in Ryde and Thornleigh twice a month during school term. Noah's Ark was established in 1976 by parents and professionals working with children who had a variety of special needs. This was in response to the growing demand for early intervention services and the necessity for parents and professionals to work together to give the children the maximum opportunity to develop skills and independence. Noah's Ark has over 2,000 toys; many are purchased specifically to meet the needs of special needs children.
