Noah at Central is a nonprofit organization dedicated to compassionately ending homelessness in Detroit. Our mission is to be an anchor of hope, support, and empowerment downtown, aspiring to create lasting change in the lives of unhoused individuals in our city by journeying alongside them to fulfill their essential needs and achieve their long-term goals. Founded in 1999 as an extension of the Central United Methodist Church of Detroit’s commitment to providing bag lunches for their unhoused neighbors, Noah at Central has evolved into a vibrant central hub for providing vital health and hygiene services, housing navigation resources, and bag lunches.
