NO design is a multidiciplinary design studio based in Copenhagen creating architecture, interiors and industrial design. Behind NO design is the story of Nicholas Oldroyd an Englishman, who found himself living across the North Sea in Denmark. With a background in design and architecture, Nicholas spent several years working for Foster+Partners in both London and San Francisco before forming NO design. With his own studio Nicholas draws on inspiration from both his previous experiences and his own discoveries of life set within the Nordic Culture. Emphasising on high quality materials, craftsmanship and the aesthetics of simple design. The story continues - as Nicholas is hopelessly trying to learn Danish, developing ideas into reality, and exploring new designs for his collection - all whilst enjoying the comfort of Danish hygge.
