We would like to invite you and your family to Faith Baptist Church, an independent, Bible-believing, Baptist church in Burlington. Our services consist of singing old-fashioned hymns (songs like "Victory in Jesus," "The Old Rugged Cross," and more), hearing special music, preaching and studying the Word of God, and so much more. We promise our church will present the Word clearly with the focus of exalting the Lord Jesus Christ. We will strive to bring the old time power, excitement, and preaching to Burlington. We believe that revival is possible but only when God's people repent, pray, and live as God's Word commands one to live. It is also possible that they acted as civil engineers, even designing bridges or other structures that were needed by the people of the town. This throws an interesting light on Jesus later comments about the temple. As they were going past the temple, His disciples, perhaps knowing of His interests and past profession, pointed out the grandeur of the great buildings. Jesus told His disciples that those structures would all be thrown ...
