NIUM is building the discovery platform needed to unlock AI in microbiome research. Today, most experimental systems fail to capture the real interactions between human cells and complex microbiomes. As a result, the data used to train models is incomplete, limiting prediction accuracy and slowing innovation. NIUM solves this by combining IMAT, a scalable gut-on-a-chip platform enabling human–microbiome co-culture, with BioHub, an intelligence layer that transforms experimental results into high-quality, structured data. Together, we generate the data required for predictive models and faster, more reliable R&D across food, pharma, and biotech.
