Currently, the Law Offices of Nithya Nagarajan, LLC coordinates with both U.S. and Chinese attorneys with experience representing companies in antidumping and countervailing duty investigations and litigation in the United States and China. Nithya Nagarajan has represented U.S. companies before the Chinese Ministry of Commerce ("MOFCOM") and the European Commission ("EC") to defend them against allegations of unfair trade practices. We have a network of contacts with attorneys who are former members of the Chinese, Indian, and European government ministries and offices conducting the trade investigations. Further, we only collaborate with attorneys with similar professional experience and dedication to client service in countries such as India and China with governments that actively pursue trade remedy actions. With a growing network of attorneys, the Law Offices of Nithya Nagarajan, LLC offer companies the ability to monitor and respond to trade remedy actions in other countries. For example, we can provide assistance to U.S. companies facing trade challenges and trade actions in China by: Working closely with U.S. companies and foreign co-counsel to develop responses to questionnaires; Meeting with foreign ministry officials to understand the political implications of a case; and Working with foreign co-counsel in anticipation of a prospective case to ensure that a U.S. company has a fair opportunity to participate. Additionally, we have a close working relationship with officials at the U.S. Department of Commerce with whom we coordinate on trade remedy actions brought by foreign governments to ensure that the proceeding is in compliance with World Trade Organization obligations.
