Nimble Dragon Studios is an award-winning media production company in Monticello, New York, specializing in nonprofit fundraising films, gala videos, and documentary storytelling. Most nonprofit video is shot broadly and assembled afterward. It looks good and it does not move anyone to give. We decide the story — who it follows, how it is built, where it ends — before anyone turns on a camera. Our framework, Story + Heart = Action, is built on research into what actually causes people to act. We serve nonprofits and businesses across the Hudson Valley, Westchester, Long Island, Bergen County, and the New York metro area, and travel internationally for client projects, including documentary work in India, the Philippines, and Taiwan. Founder Nuby DeLeon, author of Stories That Move Mountains, directs every project personally.
