NILUS Information

Water is a sacred element that creates, nourishes, houses, and illuminates life on this planet. Our role is to ensure its place in the world. Nilus is a project promoted by a multidisciplinary ecosystem of professionals united by the common purpose of taking actions to mitigate the water crisis triggered by climate change, working from scientific and technical knowledge. Inspired by methodologies implemented in the Himalayas by Sonam Wangchuck, the project seeks to restore mountain ecosystems through the implementation of artificial ice reservoirs and data-based technologies. By analogy, it consists of performing an acupuncture process at different points in our mountain range to mitigate the effects of anthropic action on it.
