Nightswimming is a Toronto-based theatre company that commissions, develops, and workshops new Canadian plays, performance works and dance. Rather than producing these new works itself, Nightswimming seeks out other established performing arts companies as partners in an extended process leading to premiere productions by our partner companies. Through the creation of these new works, Nightswimming is devoted to advancing the field of dramaturgy – the exploration of theatrical stories and how they are told – and play development in Canada.
