The University of Oslo (UiO) is internationally ranked as Norway´s leading university, having made and continues to make significant contributions to Norwegian research, innovation and education. UiO is a leading European university and the oldest university in Norway. The university has over 27 000 students and 7000 employees. It consists of eight faculties that conduct research and offer education in theology, law, medicine, humanities, mathematics and Natural sciences, dentistry, social sciences, and education.

TUMS is the symbol of excellence in medical higher education in Iran. It is the country's top research university, with an annual government grant of One Hundred Million Dollars.
