Nictiz Information

Nictiz is the Dutch competence centre for electronic exchange of health and care information . What we do Nictiz develops and manages standards that enable electronic information exchange. We ensure that healthcare information can be recorded and exchanged unambiguously. We also collect and share knowledge on electronic information exchange in healthcare, focussing not only on the Netherlands, but on international developments as well. What drives us We believe that proper information exchange in healthcare plays a vital role in improving people’s health. That is why we make every effort to provide standards and solutions that can be implemented and applied. We cannot do this on our own; it is essential for us to collaborate with stakeholders in the healthcare sector. Our network We are very well connected both in the Netherlands and internationally. Within our network, Nictiz is the independent party bringing together healthcare institutions, umbrella organisations, IT suppliers and the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport.
