As an organisation, we educate, train, advocate for and equip youth, vulnerable groups, civil society, and governments in Human Rights, justice and advocacy. We work primarily in township areas and vulnerable communities, empowering and equipping local people with the necessary skills and platforms to lead their own change.
We believe that by empowering ordinary people to understand and defend their Human Rights, they can transform society in a sustainable way and create a more just and equal world.
Our key areas of focus are: Gender-Based Violence, Human Trafficking, Children's Rights and Human Rights Education
The Innocence Project is a non-profit legal clinic created by Barry C. Scheck and Peter J. Neufeld in 1992. The project is a national litigation and public policy organization dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted people through DNA testing and reforming the criminal justice system to prevent future injustice.
