La Nickel Mining Company, NMC, est une entreprise minière calédonienne et co-entreprise du partenariat entre la SMSP (Société minière Sud Pacifique) et POSCO (Pohang Iron & Steel Corporation), créée le 22 Mai 2006 lors de la signature du Memorandum Of Understanding, qui a également conduit à la création de la SNNC (Société de Nickel de Nouvelle-Calédonie et Corée) co-entreprise et branche métallurgique du même partenariat. Le principal objectif de la NMC est d'assurer l'approvisionnement en minerai de nickel de la SNNC, l'usine de production de ferronickel basée en Corée du Sud. En 2021, la NMC compte plus de 718 salariés et dispose de quatre centres miniers opérationnels localisés en Province Nord : Ouaco et Poya sur la côte Ouest et Kouaoua et Nakety sur la côte Est.
