Nicholson and Company was established in 1983 by Brian A. Nicholson, SRA. It was then and is still now our goal to provide our customers with a professional appraisal, completed with the highest integrity. Our business has grown over the years, and our office now boasts six licensed appraisers, in addition to a complete support and clerical team. We utilize the latest in appraisal technology, which includes digital photography and the electronic transmittal of completed appraisals. We are forever evolving as our presence in the business community continues to grow. At Nicholson and Company, we offer a wide range of services. We appraise many different types of properties, which include commercial, residential, multi-residential, manufactured homes, condominiums, and vacant land. Our main areas of service are the counties of Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara, and San Mateo. Upon specific request, we have completed appraisals throughout California. We prepare appraisals for a multitude of purposes; loan origination, litigation, estate tax planning, casualty loss, and listing purposes. In addition, we provide deposition services and expert witness testimony.
