NICE Endowment is the public-interest foundation (NICE Foundation, 501(c)(3), pending IRS approval) supporting the long-horizon durability of the NICE constitutional ecosystem. Our mandate is constitutional capital — funding governance artifacts, binding processes, registrar and gatekeeping design, independent review, and public legibility work before market pressures harden implicit forms of digital authority. NICE is intentionally structured with institutional separation: • The NICE Constitutional Custodian maintains the constitutional layer and binding governance framework. • The NICE Stewardship Council cultivates ecosystem alignment and partnerships within those guardrails. • NICE Endowment supports durability through transparent, public-interest funding. This work is not product development. It is the authoring and institutionalization of enforceable constraints that future digital systems must live within. We operate with a transparency-first posture. Policies are publicly available, the constitution is maintained in a publicly viewable repository, and we intend to publish donation records as part of our accountability model.
