NGO "Poruch Information

NGO ‘Poruch’ has been taking active actions in the fields of supporting local communities in Ukraine, strengthening civil society organizations, fostering integration of internally displaced persons (IDPs), and peace-building in post-conflict areas of Donbas. Currently there are 46 members from 15 regions of Ukraine, of which 26 are experts (consultants) of NGO "Poruch". Organization’s experts are young scientists, researchers, candidates and doctors of sciences, member of national and international organizations involved in training and educational programs in leading European and international institutions. We have implemented the following projects in this area: “Volunteer School” (one of the main directions of our activities, ongoing). Goal: to include IDPs into new communities and to increase their positive influences on community development; to provide informal education for people on charity and volunteering activity, social participation and community engagement. Since May 2016, 15 Schools have been held in different regions of Ukraine (mainly on post-conflict areas of Donbas). From September to December, this project was supported by Deutsche Gesellschaft fürInternationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. During implementation of the project, more than 350 participants had been trained by NGO experts. The School alumni have been realizing a number of local initiatives; Series of facilitation sessions, trainings on project development, participation and communication for post-conflict communities of Donbas areas within the project of International Organization for Migration “Assistance to Stabilise Communities in Donbas” (from May 2016 to present time); Project “Local Leaders for Dnepropetrovsk Region Development” (September-December 2016, Dnipro). Goal: to strengthen the integration of two generations: young and senior people (including IDPs) through common projects, music, dance, movies watching.
