NextMinds Information

NextMinds (formerly the Connecticut Invention Convention) is an award winning, internationally recognized, 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational program designed to develop and enhance critical thinking skills in children in grades K-12 through invention, innovation and entrepreneurship, while encouraging their interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). NextMinds runs a variety of scaled K-12 innovation education programs, including the Connecticut Invention Convention, Massachusetts Invention Convention, and Homeschool Inventors programs. A member of the National Academy of Sciences and recognized by the National Academy of Inventors, NextMinds has changed the lives of more than 300,000 young innovators since its inception.
