Nextgen 3D Information

Based in the UK, Nextgen 3D are husband and wife team supplying 3D design, documentation, prototyping and marketing services to clients throughout the world. Both Steve and Sharon have Fine Arts and Design backgrounds and in 2010 decided to pool their comprehensive skill sets, join forces and trade as SJ Fine Arts & Design. They incorporation their business to form Nextgen 3D Limited in 2012. Steve has a 20 year career in sheet metal fabrication and engineering. Job rolls range from Coded Fabricator Welder to Design Engineer. Positions range from shop floor operative to Department Manager. Sharons career followed her passion for the arts, particularly Fine Art Photography. Shes renowned for her macro photography and has been published by a majority of UK photography magazines. Her photographs hang around the world including top hotels and cruise ships. Part of Nextgens success is their ability to repurpose CAD data for applications other than just manufacturing. Always eager to embrace and explore new technologies, in 2013 they added 3D scanning, 3D printing and prototype model making to their portfolio of services. Both Sharon and Steve support the open source community. Whenever possible they like to give back, share and help other like- minded creators.
