NEXT Canada is a national non-profit dedicated to developing Canada’s most ambitious entrepreneurs and innovators. Founded in 2010 as The Next 36, NEXT Canada now delivers founder-focused programming through three streams: Next 36, Next Founders, and NextAI, with NextAI offered in Toronto and Montréal. Our mission is to develop exceptional entrepreneurial talent, build globally competitive ventures, and drive technology adoption across industries. Through our programs and lifelong entrepreneurial network, we help founders build the skills, connections, and companies needed to contribute to Canada’s economic prosperity. To date, NEXT has supported more than 1,300 alumni entrepreneurs who have raised over $5.5 billion in capital and created thousands of jobs across Canada. Our alumni include the founders behind companies such as Ada, Super, Mistplay, OTI Lumionics, Flashfood, SeamlessMD, Bridgit, and Kira Talent.
