Next 10 Information

Next 10 is focused on innovation and the intersection between the economy, the environment, and quality of life issues for all Californians. We provide information that fosters a deeper understanding of the critical issues affecting all Californians through expert-commissioned research and ongoing online tools. Our tools include the nonpartisan California Budget Challenge (budgetchallenge.org), an online tool that allows users to create their own version of the state's budget, California Choices (cachoices.org) with nonpartisan ballot proposition information and endorsements, and the Federal Budget Challenge (http://www.federalbudgetchallenge.org/). Our annual publication, the California Green Innovation Index (greeninnovationindex.org), has tracked progress on a number of environmental indicators at the regional level, state level, and national level. Our other publications span economy, governance, and clean energy and can be found at next10.org/publications. Through education and civic engagement, we hope Californians will become empowered to effect change.
