NewsMaker.md is an independent Russian-language online media operating in the Republic of Moldova since 1 August 2014. Our mission is to make news, independent objective reporting based on international standards of independent journalism. We offer our readers high-quality fact-based reporting of political, economic, financial, social, human rights matters in the Republic of Moldova. During its 3-year lifespan Newsmaker’s team of reporters gained recognition and reputation of a leading and trusted media resource confirmed by numerous awards and prizes, as well as monitoring reports (UN Human Rights Award 2017, The "Journalists of the Year" Award 2017, 2016, 2015). Our journalists abide by international best practices, with strict adherence to the principles of fact-based journalism and objectivity. This is our key competitive advantage. Our journalists are known for their unique in-depth journalistic investigations and analysis. Other media often reprint NewsMaker’s news reports and analyses, which government institutions, NGOs, international organizations, think tanks, and the Moldovan diaspora also utilize.
