Montessori St Nicholas (MSN) is the leading UK charity for Montessori - a highly respected, child-centred approach to learning. MSN exists to encourage and promote education in every way, in particular the education of children in accordance with the philosophy and methods of the late Dr. Maria Montessori. It facilitates the unification of the Montessori movement across the UK, providing relevant training and funding research into the value and effectiveness of Montessori education, and making awards to support the development of Montessori education. The charity runs the Montessori Schools Association (MSA) which has over 3,500 members. It also supports an extensive teacher training programme and recently launched a new Foundation Degree course at its London training centre, Montessori Centre International (MCI). In 2008, The Montessori Evaluation and Accreditation scheme was introduced to drive up school standards. The charity has now accredited over 80 schools. It actively encourages all MSA schools to achieve accreditation so standards can be raised across the movement. The Charity’s mission can be summarised as aiming to: > Provide and sustain national quality assured and accredited Montessori teacher training in the UK and abroad; > Support charitable projects that help extend awareness of the benefits of Montessori education; > Support schools and teachers in membership of the MSA through training and operational advice; > Promote and extend the national accreditation system to Montessori schools across the UK; > Conduct research into the effectiveness of Montessori education and evaluate all MSN services to ensure the highest levels of delivery; > Encourage unity within a broad Montessori church a unity that accepts difference but promotes similarities.

Inspire Academy is a thriving drama workshop in the heart of Nottingham. The group was established in 2007 by Luke Gell and has grown from a small group of 17 young people meeting in a community centre in Nottingham to now, a thriving organisation of 150 young people between the ages of 7-21.
