Newcastle Women's Aid provide a Children's Service which offers practical and emotional support to women & children who are, or have experienced Domestic Abuse The service is accessible to families living in refuge & outreach clients. The service aims to assist families identify & overcome the negative effects & impacts of living with abuse. What we can provide for children: Safe, friendly and, welcoming environment Playroom & resources for children aged 0 - 16 Structured play/support sessions Qualified Children's Workers 1-1 Key Worker Support 1 -1 support sessions which can include support to help children learn how to keep themselves safe, feel less isolated, feel better about themselves and, more confident Garden with play equipment, toys and, games School holiday activities and, outings What we can provide for mothers: Support to Safeguard children.
