The Newark Campus Development Fund, founded nearly 40 years ago by community leaders who saw a need to ensure the future of the Newark campus, is responsible for managing and safeguarding funds that donors began contributing in 1983. Extraordinarily generous donors have enabled the Foundation to award millions of dollars in scholarships and grants, as well as provide new technology while developing capital improvements and state-of-the-art facilities to benefit both The Ohio State University at Newark and Central Ohio Technical College. Together with their outstanding physical facilities, award-winning faculty, and administrators dedicated to collaborative leadership, COTC and Ohio State Newark provide an exceptional college education to thousands of students each year.
