Owners of the Karilac infant formula brand. Karilac is New Zealand's oldest infant formula brand dating from 1927. It was famous for innovation and the products were exported to many countries including China, USA, India and Australia. In the first quarter of 2020 NZDP will relaunch the brand with an innovative infant formula called Shegoa which is manufactured from a combination of goat and sheep milk. In addition to containing A2 protein it has a number of other benefits for babies and infants. Production will be in Australia and Karilac will be sold globally direct-to-consumers via ecommerce channels.
