Mr. Sexton has more than 30 years of experience in the international pharmaceutical industry. Specifically, Mr. Sexton has experience, as a key executive, in the start-up and running of specialty pharmaceutical companies (Kos Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as SR VP Technical Operations and Product Development, Aeropharm Technology as Executive VP & General Manager and IEP Pharmaceutical Devices as President) and the turn-around of a mid-sized privately held pharmaceutical company (Purdue Pharma L.P. as Sr. VP Technical Operations responsible for Non-Clinical Research & Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality). In addition to this experience, Mr. Sexton has an additional 15 years domestic and international experience in various Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality roles in large Pharma companies, including Wyeth and Boehringer Ingelheim. Mr. Sexton is also a Founding Partner of ProtecRx, a smart card technology company focused on the development of novel technology platforms and business solutions for the healthcare industry. Mr. Sexton is a member and Managing Director of the Board of Directors for Coldstream Laboratories, and a Board Advisor to CheckPoint Card Technologies. He is a former Board Member of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers, and Clarkson University School of Arts & Science Advisory Board. Mr. Sexton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1982 from Clarkson University. He has numerous issued and pending patents in the field of drug delivery, diagnostics, and Healthcare information management.
