New Pathways Tech is a nonprofit machinist technology training center dedicated to developing the skilled workforce that powers Virginia manufacturing. Through hands-on training in manual machining, CNC operations, manufacturing fundamentals, and workplace readiness, we prepare students for careers in aerospace, defense, industrial manufacturing, precision machining, and related industries. Students have the opportunity to earn industry-recognized NIMS (National Institute for Metalworking Skills) machining credentials, helping validate the skills employers need most. In partnership with Germanna Community College, New Pathways helps create accessible pathways into rewarding manufacturing careers while supporting the workforce needs of employers across Central Virginia. More than a training provider, New Pathways works directly with manufacturers to build talent pipelines, upskill existing employees, and develop customized workforce training programs aligned with real-world production environments.
