New Man's Karate Information

We are committed to teaching a realistic and modern approach to self-defense, exercise and real-world street survival. Our Owner/Instructor Scott Newman began New Man's Karate in 1994 as a family-oriented facility that emphasizes the needs of the individual student. Our success-oriented teaching methods encourage achievement toward personal goals, inspiring confidence in our students through building measurable skills. Focused repetition enables our students to respond favorably under pressure. We strive to make each person's training successful and personally rewarding by maintaining a class size of 15 or less; every student is a part of our family and not just a number! We provide an environment of positive relationships and have a wonderful core group of students who attend regularly and train hard. We use our 4400 square foot facility to the best advantage, utilizing the larger of the two workout rooms for the bigger classes and the smaller room for private lessons and small classes. The class schedules are very flexible with over 10 different beginning classes throughout the week, you even may attend as often as you wish - UNLIMITED CLASSES! We also host a number of free or low cost extra-circular activities throughout the year such as our annual Santa Cruz Summer Beach Training trip, Swing Dance Parties, Laser Tag Challenge, Dojo Snow Day, Christmas Party & more. It is a privilege and blessing to teach Martial Arts full time so we can focus on our students' success. We offer Classes for Tiny Tots (ages 3-6), Adult only Hand To Hand Combat, Women's Self Defense Seminars, and Traditional Martial Art lessons for the young and old alike. Categories
