NEWEIC is a quantitative investment firm running a multi-strategy systematic portfolio. We build and combine multiple, intentionally uncorrelated strategies — spanning market-neutral alpha, beta, hedging, options arbitrage, and dividend-income approaches — so that the portfolio's resilience comes from structure rather than from any single bet. Risk management is the foundation, not an afterthought. Every strategy carries its own risk controls, and the portfolio sits under a second, independent layer of risk control on top. The strategies are designed to remain uncorrelated, so that a drawdown in one is absorbed by the others rather than amplified across the book. Before any strategy is allocated real capital, it passes a multi-stage validation pipeline: long-horizon backtesting, out-of-sample testing, randomized-segment resampling, pure-random stress testing, extreme-scenario stress testing, and live small-position paper trading. A strategy that depends on the market following a predictable pattern does not survive this process; only strategies whose edge is structural do. We are deliberately patient and deliberately conservative. Our goal is not to chase the highest possible return in any single window, but to build a book that is structurally hard to break — and to compound from a position that stays standing.
