My personal experience in the China Travel Industry dates from 1975 when I worked as the first professional English speaking tour guide in Hangzhou China Travel Service (a famous Chinese tourist city). In 1986 I was appointed the Assistant General Manager of the Hong Kong China Merchants International Travel Service. In 1987 I was sent to the Yangtse River by CMITS to work as the Cruise Director on the MS Merchant Princess. In 1990 I left China for a big challenge to study Tourism Management at the Graduate School of Sydney University. Since 1991, I have organised and escorted several thousands of Australian travelers.
