Neurotar’s mission is to advance brain research in live animals as a more translational alternative to in vitro and ex vivo research. To this end, we provide in vivo two-photon imaging of the mouse brain as a service for global pharmaceutical and biotech companies working in the CNS area. Key focus areas are trans-BBB PK of large molecules, Alzheimer's disease, and stroke. In vivo two-photon imaging allows studying the brain longitudinally with subcellular resolution. In our second line of business, we commercialize innovative research tools (Mobile HomeCage line of products) that facilitate basic research in live and non-anesthetized mice. Mobile HomeCage products eliminate the biases associated with the use of anesthetics and allow combining high precision techniques (in vivo two-photon imaging, in vivo electrophysiology, optogenetics) with behavioral studies. The Mobile HomeCage is used by 230+ academic and industrial labs worldwide, primarily in North America and Central Europe.
