Neumayer was founded in 1949 and started with production of round, drawn copper wires. In the ensuing years, Neumayer developed into to a specialist for precision shaped copper alloy and steel wires. The company headquarters are located in Leobersdorf, just south of Vienna, Austria. Since 1961 Neumayer produces solderable wires for electronic components. In 1962 the product line was expanded to profiled wires for the Eye Glass and Electronics industries. In 1983 the first international sales office has been established in America, followed by a second one in Hong Kong in 1991. Thanks to the merger of Outokumpu OY, Finland and Feller-Neumayer GmbH in 1992, our customers benefit from a worldwide distribution structure, extensive technical know how and an integrated, In-House supplier of raw-materials. High quality standards, ongoing improvements and special manufacturing technologies are a guarantee for long-term customer satisfaction and give Neumayer a large, world wide market share.
