Hello, we're Net#work BBDO, nice to meet you. Well, I guess you're here to find out a little more about us, so let's start right at the beginning shall we? We popped out kicking and screaming into the great city of Jozi in 1994, the first ad agency in the new South Africa, born to proud parents Mike Schalit and Keith Shipley. We were fresh, energized and idealistic, we had a healthy disrespect for the advertising regime of the time and we made it our mission to shake things up and do things differently. We believe that great ideas have the power to change the world, mobilise behaviour change and build social cohesion. Great ideas break through the wallpaper of mediocrity and the wall of indifference. They jump out at you and shake you. Whether they make you happy, sad, or just make you think, the important thing is that they make you feel something. They are emotional connectors that stay with you way longer than any ad break. Net#work BBDO is today run by Deidre Lodwig (CEO), Jacque Matthee (CCO) and Tebogo Koena (CSO) and a host of other big-brained people who are committed to making amazing work everyday.
