The goal of the NetOS (Network Operating System) project is to provide a framework for object oriented hardware interaction. The protocol that lies at the heart of this project was born out of the need for secure, private communication as we more into a brave new world of biometric identification and ever increasing surveillance. Devices that preserve our privacy while providing all the convenience of technological progress are possible. It is vitally important that a open, secure alternative be available and known to the public as these systems are implemented.
