The gallery was a dream of Jessie's, a life long professional artist. Its name comes from Jessie's love of Jane Austin -- specifically, Netherfield was the name of Mr. Bingley's house in Pride and Prejudice. Netherfield Gallery has recently begun hosting creativity and artistic events including Life / Figure Drawing and Creativity Workshops.
