Net Zero C6 Information

Net Zero C6, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation whose mission is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by providing research grants to students, professors and graduate students who request grants for funding of research into novel GHG reduction ideas. Agribusiness and animal husbandry contribute greatly to GHG emissions. Since we are based in the Midwest, many of our colleges and universities have robust programs in these areas of study. Carbon capture is another area where invention, improvement and/or scale up of ideas and methods is needed. Additionally, part of our mission is to educate the public so, we will be having events showcasing "best practices". We would also like to develop a farm utilizing "best practices" and make it available to the public along with tours and lectures. Also, concrete and steel production are major contributors to GHG emissions and are another of our stated areas of research. We believe our renewable energy of flowing water, hydroelectric power generation is under utilized and have several novel concepts for gaining more renewable energy from this resource.
